A TALK WITH KUYA BOK ABOUT SUICIDE
Suicide means ending, not just your own life, but also the mission that God gave you to be fruitful caretakers of the earth.
Not that I am being proud but suicide is not new to me already. I have had my suicidal tendencies; and have entertained it many times. Because I thought, the idea of inflicting pain on my body would surpass the intolerable anguish or emotional grief that I am feeling. But it turned out the other way around.
But one thing I realized about suicide is that, it will never end your pain, it would only hand the disturbance to your surviving loved ones.
We should also be reminded of our calling to be fruitful caretakers of the earth; our mission includes taking care of our bodies that serve as the temple of God; the soul resides in it, that's why the need to make it pure and clean is necessary, and of course, Godly.
Last but not the least, life will always throw us lemons, and it's up to us if we'll gonna squeeze it and turn it into a juice that quenches thirst or gonna take lemons as the reason for our eyes to flow tears.
May we all be appreciative of the most precious gift of God to us—the life. Remember that life is even more beautiful with problems. Wanna know why? Because in having it, we get to appreciate the things that we already have; and accept the things that is not really for us.
Laban tayo, mga bok at 'ter!
Tandaan mo na ang buhay ay parng pangungusap, hindi mo ito kailangang lagyan ng tuldok kung kuwit lamang ang kailangan.
